I am trying to install FTB Infinity Evolved using the new launcher, the one that says "UI Version 0ef60e23" and "App Version: 1.0.9".
I use the Browse function, scroll down to Infinity Evolved, click the download button, and select the newest version which is 3.1.0, and click INSTALL.
It then says "Creating environment..." for a short while and then switches to starting to install it, and this almost immediately stops with
"Installing FTB Infinity Evolved 1.7 - 1.22% (19.73 mbps)"
It never recovers from this (never = at least 30 minutes I left it running at one point).
If I close the launcher and restart it, it appears to have been installed, but if I open the folder and check the mods, only two files are placed in there:
CustomMainMenu-MC1.7.10-1.9.2.jar
ResourceLoader-MC1.7.10-1.3.jar
The launcher.log file has been attached. It contains many lines with the text SEVERE, I assume one of them tells me what the problem is but I'm unable to find an error message that tells me something. It has this:
SEVERE: an error occurred on connection /127.0.0.1:58734:java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 29
But I don't know what would be running on that port, nor why that would give this error message (which I know what means, but I don't have access to the code).
