Installing BukkitForge; MCPC+, or other Bukkit Mod?

I've continually been trying to setup a Bukkit API mod for a while now with little success. BukkitForge hangs at pre-initializing various mods; and MCPC+ refused to load. My goal is to establish GriefPrevention and a Vault Economy system. Biggest thing is GriefPrevention though.

I've had a lot of trouble and finally broke down and decided to see if anyone here could lend a hand.
All help is greatly appreciated.

Bukkitforge should work fine. Maybe give us more details on your server? OS? etc.

Did you install it right?

Seems to be working fine and I'm able to use GriefPrevention too.

How'd you go about installing MCPC+?

MCPC+ seems to be working now. I was trying the method listed in another thread regarding extracting it,
but now I see that all that is needed is just renaming the .jar to the default server .jar. Also needed to disable MCPermissions to get it to load for some reason.

Right now MCPC+ is more stable and give better performance then Bukkitforge
