Ok, so basically making an advanced solar panel is a pain in the ass, so i want to add on the compact solars mod so it will be a lot easier.

I have tried taking the .zip file from the direwolf pack and just putting it in the ultimate pack but everytime it crashes

Compact Solars and Advanced Solar Panels both use the same block ID, so to stop it crashing to an ID conflict, you need to remove Advanced solar panels.
