I am getting insane choppy lag when running the DireWolf20 v3 FTB Server. I have...

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Java 7 64bit (its updated because jucheck.exe isnt running on startup)
Mushkin 128Gig Solid State (where the server is running)
8 Gigs of DDR3 1866 RAM
i7 3770K overclocked to 4.2GHz
nVidia GTX 680

The lag isn't like, the-game-is-running-at-3-frames-per-second kind of lag, its more like every half a second the game freezes for a microsecond. Also, even when simply moving the server GUI window, the window movement cannot keep up with my mouse. I know its usually not suggested to run both a client and a server on one machine, but being a previous Tekkit user, I have not had these problems in the past. The lag seems to effect other programs as well, even though the CPU usage is rarely above 12%. As a side note, it seems to lag every time the numbers change on the server GUI window. Its very strange and I'm hoping that I'll be able to resolve this problem. If there is any other information that may be useful in solving this problem, let me know and I'll post it.

Edit: Just making sure I clarify, this is COMPLETELY fps lag on my side. No one else on the server is having any significant problems.

Edit 2: Disabling the GUI made the stuttering go away. Strange solution to a strange problem. Not sure how to set this to Solved because I'm new here, so if someone could do that for me, I would greatly appreciate it. :D
