Infitech2 - Infusion and Alchemy

Hi all,

Quick one (hopefully), would anyone be able to explain how Infusion and Alchemy work in Infitech2/Gregtech? I'm trying to follow a complex flow / recipe kindly provided someone on here, but two of the elements require Infusion and Alchemy, but I don't know where to start on that front.

I'm trying to make "1 Fiery Blood Cell" which requires "infusion", but how/what?
Also, trying to make "1 Tiny Fiery Steel Dust"", which in turn requires Alchemy. But searching and Googling haven't lead me anywhere yet, and NEI doesn't seem to help at all... Do I need to make a machine for this? Is there a mini-guide or something I've missed I could borrow?

Regarding the infusion: @Xavion can clarify further since I believe he set up all or most of the recipes involved, but for the fiery stuff, try reading the relevant HQM carefully. There are explanations in there that I missed the first couple times I tried to do this stuff.

For the alchemy stuff specifically, I think you're talking about the Alchemical Construct work. Make sure you have an understanding of how Thaumcraft works. You'll need to unlock the appropriate machines and whatnot in the Thaumonomicon.

Don't hesitate to keep asking questions. I'm vague because I don't recall the large picture specifics, but I might be able to be more helpful on a narrower scale

Finding/unlocking the infusion section in the Thaumonomicon is a little tricky, since its hidden behind something that -by name- feels like a dead end rather than a great leap forward.

Alchemy tab, left centre branch- push through a few researches about transmutating/duplicating resources and you'll find one for the Vintium Crystal. The crystal is needed to make the infusion alter, and it unlocks a second research entry in the book detailing how infusion works.
