Infinity time loop (and lag)

Details of the issue:
I start minecraft it loads but if I move 3-5 secs later I flick back to where I started. Before this started happening I had huge lag - 5-10 secs for about a week. I tried increasing ram, using new java,, removing jorneymap . I have search web and found nothing similar. My pc is a top end beast (am 59 yr old professional).​
