Running into a very weird issue.
This started happening when we updated our Infinity server to version 1.2.1 about a week ago.
We currently host 2 Minecraft servers on the same server box.
The box is running BSD (Ubuntu), and is hosted through OVH/SoYouStart.
It's a fairly decent server, with 32GB and SSD, with a 1Gbps connection.
Our two servers are currently, for the sake of this issues, Infinity and Custom.
While Infinity is running, Custom times out constantly. Players will be unable to connect and/or gets kicked off the server, with a time out issue. The Custom server itself stays online, and no crash reports or error logs are generated.
The interesting thing, though, is that last night, one of our admins shut down the Infinity server for several hours. During this time, the Custom server ran perfectly fine. No timeouts or anything. However, as soon as he booted back up the Infinity server, the Custom server started having issues again.
The Infinity server itself appears to run fine - no one has reported to use any timeout issues - just some general tps lag here and there.
Both servers have 10GB allotted to them. The Infinity server gets 10-15 people online max, while the Custom server only sees about 5 people online at a time.
I ran a memory check in SSH console, and currently, with both servers online, 29GB of RAM is used, with ~3 remaining free.
Disk space is fine, plenty of room remaining.
Any idea what's going on, or where to even begin troubleshooting this odd issue?
