Title Infinity Evolved Crashes on Launch

Details of the issue When I click Play in the Twitch desktop app, it launches the Minecraft launcher just fine. However, when I click on play in the Minecraft launcher, it immediately comes up with a dialogue box reading: "An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience."

The game log doesn't even open on launch, it crashes before it even has a chance.

Any ideas?
