Details of the issue:
Unzipped a new download of the FTB Infinity Server on version 1.11.2. Starting up the server and the client both work fine, but attempting to join the server gives one of the following errors:

Error 2:

[23:30:57] [Netty IO #3/INFO] [FML]: Unexpected packet during modded negotiation - assuming vanilla or keepalives : net.minecraft.network.play.client.C00PacketKeepAlive

This occurs whether it is myself or another attempting to join the server, despite being on fresh installs of the Infinity pack client. Please let me know if any further details are needed.

Java is currently up to date.

Those are the last things to occur when someone attempts to join, and therefore the most relevant. I'll post the full logs when I get a chance, but they won't be detailing much more than basic startup.

I'm having the exact same errors, removing both of those mods from the server modlist does nothing for me either. You're not the only one with this issue

Again, this is on a fresh server, and a friend encountered similar errors when attempting to create his own on this "recommended" version of the pack.

1. download http://clip2net.com/s/3ovysQu (i dont remember original site for download).
1.1 run it and test from computers U trying connect.​
2. rename "mods" folder to "mods1" on server and try start server. if it's ok, try connect to it.

I'm a bit wary of downloading some random site, but pinging the server manually via command prompt from multiple computers works fine.

Attempting to connect without any mods gives the error that the client's mods are mismatched with the server's mods, as expected, after running the item/block removal command through Forge.

I know that there is an option for checking client mods and server mods. but I cant find it.
so make same with mods on client side.

When this was happening for me, it was an issue in my denseores.cfg, meaning, it could be an error in any config (not named) you changed. Also, try deleting all the files in config/JourneyMapServer.
