  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Server tick errors are among the hardest issues to fix. Do you have a back up from prior to upgrading? If not going forward you should enable the aromabackup so you always have a way out. I've had to learn the hard way (just like you) always do a backup before you update a pack. The process of upgrading a pack will change your world save and you may not be able to back out just by downgrading the pack.

I wish I could be more helpful in fixing your issue.

I do have a backup I can revert to, so all is not lost. I really would like to upgrade though but seems I can't.

I feel your pain on that one. I'm stuck at 1.6.2 due to the thaumic horizons add in. Looking back at your crash log from your 1st post. It is applied engineering causing the crash. So my guess is either a mod has changed, added or removed an item that you have in storage or more a recipe you have stored in your crafting setup is causing issues. I'm more inclined to think it is a crafting recipe due to the text of the log. So examine the change logs between your current version and the versions you want to upgrade to. See what mods have been updated. Then remove those crafting recipes from AE. Again this is just a guess but might be worth a try.
