Hello. I play the Direwolf20 pack quite frequently, when one of my friends asked if I had heard of the Infamy modpack on the FTB launcher. After reading the description I decided to play it, as I used to be a huge fan of the SDK Gun Mod and Minecraft weapons mods in general. However, when I attempted run it, it got stuck on a whitescreen after the Mojang logo.

I have tried updating my Java, restarting my computer, deleting the Infamy folder and re-installing, allocating 4GB of RAM, and even manually selecting older versions of the pack in the hopes it was a version specific bug, all to no avail.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, with whatever the most recent Java version is (Version 7 Update 25 I think.)
The error is specific to this modpack (to my knowledge), as both the new and the old Direwolf20 packs run perfectly fine. Here is the log from the console. Any help would be greatly appreciated. http://pastebin.com/RK872rde

Thanks, but I actually already fixed it. It turns out my anti-virus (Kaspersky) prevented FML from writing scala-library.jar to the disc. I turned it off and ran it once and that fixed the problem.

Welcome. If you are getting the same error you do not have to worry about kapersky doing this. You can either download an FTB created pack, say Unleashed, and copy over the lib folder to it. Or you can download the files yourself. Both are explained in this thread. If you are not getting this error or get another after doing this then post a console log to pastebin.com and link to it in a, preferably new not this, thread.
