Yah, the unofficial wiki has good list, I'm just looking for one that is a little simpler to copy. I am creating a spread sheet with all the mods and all the items. This way I can easily look up what mod "x" item goes with. I find myself often lost as to where it belongs.
items with similar ID numbers will mostly be from the same mod (thresholds nothwithstanding)
so if you see something with item id 30906, you can scroll through NEI to the 30,000's and view other items around 30906 that will be from the same mod. This makes it fairly easy to guess which mod an item is from.
I understand that, but it still takes a knowledge of what the id's are and such and I am looking to compile and a list that is quickly and easily searchable for an item and grouping it with what mod. At that point I can easily link it to information on the web about said item or pack. I'm an excel guy, its what I work with all day long and is second nature and fast for me.
Cool, I will do that. I had not considered doing it that way. To be honest, I stay far away from the config files. Dont want to mess anything up ya know!!
