Hi, was wondering if anyone could help me? Me and a friend were making nuclear bunkers but whenever we donate a single nuke it crashes the server after around 30 seconds
I have it running on a fast hard drive and I am giving the server 8GB of ram and my game 4gb, I also have a fast processor and good internet connection so I doubt my computer cannot handle it as it can on single player.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or how I could fix it? Thank you.

I5 2500K overclocked to 4.6GHZ, I highly doubt this being a bottle neck though as it can process the same thing easily on single player. And when we donate the nuke the usage only goes from like 1% to around 20ish? :s

Once I was the last remaining player on a server that was about to be shut down. Since I had op privs, I took the opportunity to reduce everyone's builds to craters with nukes (taking "before" and "after" screenshots as I went).

I ran into similar problems. In the end I found that if I encased a chunk loader set to a decent radius in bedrock, then triggered my nukes and logged out for the five minutes it took for the entities to despawn, the server would be a lot less likely to crash.

And note that the more nukes you cram in an area, the bigger the blast. It's like a nuke triggered by another nuke gets more power. We're talking thousands of blocks being turned into entities, many chunks being cleared out right down to bedrock. One nuke, on its own, really doesn't do all that much - scratches the surface - but you'll still be better off with no one online when it blows.

Actually found out the issue, there seems to be a bug when destroying a block that has a wireless receiver on it, it crashes the game. When the nuke was detonating it was then destroying a nearby block with a wireless receiver and crashing the server and game, silly me haha!
