I have a industrial blast furnace that has used a kanthal heating coil and nichrome heating coils. If i remove the blast furnace, do i have to remake the KHCs and the NHCs?

GregTech machines always preserve their upgrades. That applies to all upgrades, including overclockers, transformer upgrades and heating coils.

Which sometimes suck, I have added an extra overclocker by mistake due to lag once to a 128 eu/t Machine rendering I't useless due to power restraints

(Unless there is a way to remove them again, which I haven't found...)

There's a way around that. MFSU to MV transformer equals not one but four 128 eu packets per tick. This won't blow up your machine because it is 4x128 not 512.

But with 2 overclockers it needs 2048 per tick (128x4x4)...

The problem wasn't so much that It would blow up (that's fixable with transformer upgrades) the problem was that I didn't have 2000 EU to spare just to operate that one machine :p
