Increasing available Memory

I see in the launcher that the max memory that can be used is capped at 1Gig is there a way to increase this? if not are there plans to add this feature to the launcher?

any feedback would be appreciated.

That is determined by how much available memory you have.
Aiso Java 32 bit limits RAM usage. There are limitations with this that are buggered.

If you are using a 32bit windows... yea, your screwed

Your Post got me to thinking... I checked my system to see if i had the most up-to-date Java release and i had an old version of Java that i must have forgotten to uninstall. i got rid of that and updated to Java 7 Release 10 and now the launcher is correctly detecting my memory allowing me to increase the usage.

so problem solved

This is not actually entirely true. Other Modpack launchers allow me to set a maximum of up to 1.5GB or even 2GB RAM on my 32-bit Windows system. The 1GB RAM limit set by the FTB Launcher is actually an arbitrary limit put in place by the FTB Dev Team.
