Hey all,

I am currently about to release an update to my mod pack (MMF 1.7.10) and this will be the first "official" version that I'm not considering a BETA, but I've noticed performance overall is poor, my overall framerate isn't bad and I'm on a fairly good machine, its just when I look around or move it becomes very choppy, I'm up to 180 mods, I don't really want to sacrifice any if I can help it, but will do if needed.

Is there any way I can boost performance and at least reduce the choppiness of gameplay, I have FastCraft installed already and that helps in the FPS, but not really on the choppy side of things. Is there any particular mods I might have installed that can be a performance hog? Or am I simply stuck with that issue moving forwards?

Any feedback/advice/tips would be greatly appreciated,

Many Thanks,

Optifine, FPSPlus and Fastcraft help, sometimes they are incompatible with other mods though. Also 180 mods is quite a lot.

Optifine has some incompatibility issues though? I'll check out FPSPlus, and I have FastCraft installed, a found a major performance boost when I switched off Smooth Lighting, it removed the choppyness almost completely and the FPS is more consistent to what I'm used to in Vanilla 1.7. :)

Thank you kindly for the feedback :)
