Not really random, it was on the front page of the forum threads and I run an iMac, so it was worth responding to. oh well

not that much of a necro... I believe a necro is when you bump a topic that's older then a month, which this topic is not
sure, it's a topic from last year, but it's not that long ago

From my experiences, FTB runs fine on Macs. There shouldn't be any problems if you have a fairly new mac.

I've got the newer late 2012 IMac and minecraft runs fantastically! anything before the newer one it runs better on lower settings

I have to say, I have a macbook pro from 2012 running on OSX Lion, and the fan borked so it runs pretty slowly sometimes. So I really need mine fixed.
I could probably get the DVD and SD card removed from the DVD drive, don't ask...
