I'm Curious a 1.8 query

I searched the FTB forums for and see very little mention of any FTB 1.8 modpacks and there are none on the FTB launcher BUT on the Curse launcher there is this one called "VERY Unstable 1.8 listed as "The first FTB Modpack for 1.8, my question is: Is this modpack an official FTB pack or is not? if it is why isn't it on FTB launcher? I prefer to use FTB launcher at the present

It is not an official one.
It is a third party pack.
You have to get the pack code in order to play it.
Pack code should be somewhere in the pack thread.

That particular modpack listed on Curse isn't on ftb here that I can find, only 1.8 I find is "apack" and that isn't the one on curse, different authors and mod list
