Idea ?

If you make an Age with eternal storm ( thunder ) and than u make a lightning rod with some power storage attached. u can make alot of EU. is it a good idea or is it impossible ?

Yeah good idea .. you could use an mfsu cart some rails and portals to get it back to the overworld

Did any of you actually tried it? I think i read on gregtech forum that it doesnt work, so I tried it. I spawned mystcraft age with eternal storm wire lightning rod to matter fabricator by HV cables and nothing (it should at least explode if nothing else). And i had over 150 iron fences.

You need lightning to physically hit the rod I think. (Adding fences increases the chance of lightning hitting it.)

I guess try building several rods, or spamming the charged symbol in a test world.

Nah, according to Gregtech, it won't work due to a fault on Mystcraft's end in how the Charged ages work.

For a minute, there, I was all excited to set up a Castle Frankenstein, with an iron golem Igor. I could cackle "It's ALIVE!" when the lightning recharged my power grid. Aww....
