Does anyone know the frequency of IndustrialCraft rubber trees spawning in the added biomes from Extra Biomes XL? I've only found the trees very rarely in what appear to be random biomes.

I find ExtraBiomesXL to be really annoying...
Your best bet for rubber trees is just normal forest and swamp biomes but it can take ages to find one because of ExtraBiomesXL.
Also, if you find rubber trees spawning in random biomes, press F3 to see what the biome is.

I had the same idea about writing the biomes down. I found three trees in ExtraBiomes XL biomes, forested hills, pine forest and snowy rainforest; one in each. Luckily it was enough to make a decent rubber tree farm and have a few saplings left over.

ExtrabiomesXL adds a "Green Swamps" biome as well which have been pretty common in my experience. I don't think they spawn witches but otherwise they're the same as regular swamps besides their much, well... greener palette, including their abundance of Rubber Trees.

We have our main base set up in one on my server and in the couple of times I played SSP I was able to run around the world for a few minutes and find them. Just grab a few saplings and bring them home to make a farm.

Quite a few biomes in ExtraBiomes have the rubber trees, you just need to keep searching.

Usually, I find some in the forested areas that don't have snow or the gigantic trees.

I find Rubber Trees in most biomes with trees. I never find them in wastelands, glaciers, etc. I do find them in redwood forests, the forested islands, etc.

I had to travel a little bit in my current world, cause I was between a taiga forest (which doesn't have any?) and a redrock hills biome.
