IC2 Generator creating power without fuel?

Hey guys,

We just ran in to a weird thing.
After creating our first Generator, we noticed that it was creating power, without having any fuel.
Ive looked in the IC2 config, but I can not seem to find anything wrong with it.
Does anyone have a clue what might cause this?

this is coming from Ars magica, could this be the issue? If so, how would I go about fixing it?

Quicky update

It seems that this "unlimited power from 1 coal" bug only comes up when powering an IC2 machine, ive tested it on some MFR machines, and it doesn't seem to bug on that

You need to provide info on what MC version and IC2 version you are using. As for the are magica config; that has to do with the generation of are magica power. For that you drop items into this altar thing and it provides units of power based on the item dropped in. Mod items aren't in the config so it provides you with a means of configuring the value of the mod items in their power system.

As far as the rest of the info, we are using MC 1.5.2 /w IC2: industrialcraft-2_1.117.921

It only seems to bug with IC2 machines
Ive tried hooking a Generator up to a MFR + IC2 machine and it wont bug

Adding more machines in use to the power line coming form the 1 generator seems to break the bug
but 1 furnace + macerator = infinite energy from 1 coal

IC2 classic is no longer being developed, and many of the existing builds are very buggy because they decided in the middle of 1.6 ports that they'd rather start over than bother dealing with the existing issues.

There's now a new branch called IC2 Experimental for Minecraft 1.6.x, which is actively being developed and works very well already. Unfortunately it's not available for 1.5.x, and you will no longer see bugfixes or version updates for the classic branch.

Rite, I think ive got everything sorted

Is there a place on this forum where your allowed to provide a dropbox link for the modpack and then ask people to test it, server wise.
I seem to run in to an issue that kills my server, and I cant seem to trace it.
I think it might be due to how many RAM I can feed my server, so I was hoping that someone could help me out with that.

Is there such a forum section for that?

You should try to monitor your server with VisualVM and JConsole. About the section: Try the Server area, open a thread and ask for people to PM you for a dl link and help.
