IC2 + Factorization=Conflict

Like i said in the title my Ic2 and Factorization are conflicting?
Could someone send me a file with the correct id's that don't conflict with Ic2? Or is it just a problem that everyone has? I love them both and don't want either to go...
 
They should work together fine if you're using the default configs. If you've changed something or added something, things may conflict, but we can't help you without details. We need numbers, error logs, etc.
 
Personally, I'd delete my files and re-run the ftb.exe. That way everything will reload and the configs will be recreated. Alternatively, you could go into either the factorization or IC2 configs, find the block that's causing the problem(ID 4095) and change it to an unoccupied ID. But, depending on if you've used that item in your world, it may be changed to a different block, depending on what you do.
 
I think The problem stems from trying to put IC2 plus Factorization into the magic pack. Install them than copy the config files from the FTB Beta A pack and paste em into the magic world config folder

Nevermind that the config files changed between updates in MC. You will need to edit the configs tho
 
They may not have changed entirely, but the configs may be different between versions. If you're trying to move mods into the 1.4.5 magic pack, the question is entirely different. You could also just install GUIapi and ID resolver and have it do it for you. That's what I've done, and now I have 55 mods in my Magic Pack.
 
I prefer manually changing mod configs so I know exactly what I have. More work? Yes but it makes me sane when I know exactly where my ID blocks lay in relation to each other
 
As long as they work, I don't care personally. Plus you can manually configure it with IDresolver anyways. The reason I used it in the first place was for DivineRPG. That mod adds hundreds of IDs and manually configuring that mod only, would've taken me forever.
 
Wow, just deleted all my configs and wellah! It worked! Awesome! Question about soul shards too. Can i click modspawners and get souls?BUT keep the mob that is already in there w/o having to have the spawner of that type?
 
Not really. ID conflicts are pretty easily taken care of, and if you're having ID conflicts, it's because you're doing things outside the realm of FTB. FTB is setup so that it doesn't have any ID conflicts, so if you're having them, you're adding to the modpack, which there's not really support for here. I'd suggest asking for help on the minecraft forums, or PMing me lol.

Ok, if i have any conflicts with ids i can ask you?
 
I also have another question.. In the 1.4.2 of FTB there was an advanced diamond drill. Now, it is not in anymore. :( Why?

Also, can't find any, macerators,extractors,electric furnaces,etc.
