I ALWAYS wanted to make a really cool fish tank in Minecarft. It would be nice to be a multiblock structure and to be possible to choose how it looks, but a pre-built fish tank would still be really cool ! I saw this picture on a FTB post, but it has over 300 pages, so I'm not gonna look through all of 'em.

Does anybody know where this is from ? (what mod)
Also, please recommend me other mods if you know any
 
Possibly Mariculture, although I don't recall seeing ornamental fishtanks in that. Another guess might be something like Bibliocraft which has every ornamental block ever.

That looks like Decocraft to me.
 
Have a wall of glass with a water wall behind that, then behind that water wall, decorate it with some microblock stuff.

Lycanites mobs will essentially fill that tank for you. (However you may get killed by what fills it)
Lord knows those Ikaris and silex fish love my IE water wheel.

It's ok, I added it because it adds Doom themed mobs to the nether they are also stupidly tough.
However its not for the faint hearted. No really... that mod might actually kill me or someone with shock induced heart trauma.
There's this mob called a geonatch, it has a chance to spawn whenever you mine an ore. And despite how well I prepare my nerves to expect them they always catch me off guard for a panniky jump scare. There are a few mobs like that in that mod. The tree ent that spawns when you cut a log and the spriggan that spawns when you break crops and bushes.
Those two are just annoying though.

Theres also these cool but obnoxious mob spawn events. Unfortunately when the event procs it plays a rather loud and abrupt sound clip and blinds you with a cool but obnoxious splash screen.
Where you then get accosted loads of the specific events chosen mobs.
It's a neat mod but will need tweaking to make it less painful.
I'd disable the inferno event. I had one while sitting in my wooden spawner cabin and 3 lava lobbers effectively covered it.
That was a ragequitrestartword moment for me.

I saw a fishtank mod while going through the mods on the Curse launcher once. I don't know how good the tank is though, since there aren't many pictures and the ones shown don't have any fish in the tank so I don't know if its even possible to put any in. The modauthor also seems to have moved on in the 'make lots of random cool-looking but useless blocks' direction.

BTW, I've seen Tropicraft used for making a nice looking fishtank. It adds lots of tropical fish and a fish net for catching and placing them.
 
Mo' Creatures has some cool fish, though as far as I know, Mo' Creatures isn't in any of the ftb packs. None of the main ones at least.

I think it has to do with modpack permissions. They're really restrictive (or they were a long time ago when I looked at it), which is a shame.

Actually I am wrong... It remember seeing something on their website about it being open to be used in packs a while ago, but I could be wrong. I guess he changed it back to the old policy.. '▿' That's a shame. I quite like it. It adds some nice ambiance.... or really annoying noises... One of the two. :P
 
Another mod that adds cool fish is Aquatic Abyss. I was just looking at it and it adds some really cool looking fish. :3 Aqua Creepers is another good one... if you like being risky :3
