A friend of a friend once said that she "tripped over a pile of gravity". I think "a pile of gravity" would be a really cool block to add to minecraft, especially if it can be made so that whichever block face the player is touching becomes down. It should take a lot of material to make, maybe a singularity with 4 (8x) compressed cobblestone & 4 blocks of quantum dust.
