i think there should be a new mod pack the reason for this is because I love rotarycraft and theres 1 mudpack that only has that mod . I think other people may like this aswell because this mod pack is fun to explore but also challenging so if you do create a new mod pack add peoples suggestions and rotarycraft

Perhaps you could make it yourself? I don't believe it's too hard to learn how. Another way to get such a pack would be to search around for a pack like such in the Third-Party Packs section of the forums.

+1.

Third party packs can be underrated. Now I know better and play them almost exclusively. A good one will be updated constantly and be balanced and refined (as required) to a high degree.

And there's probably several of them with RotaryCraft.

Could always join up on the Feed the Machine server. We could use some new folks, the place has been kinda light on people the past little while. We gots RoC, ChC, and ReC. No ElectriCraft, much to my disappointment, though.

RoC has gained a lot of bad press regarding performance. Not alot of it is earned scorn either.
As far as I am concerned it's about as laggy as any other tech mod. That and Reika is rather tight about altering his mod makeing it unappealing to hqm map makers.

RotaryCraft is quite a good mod though, not so much because it's fun but because it doesn't patronize your intelligence leading you by the hand.
It is OP as hell as far as resource creation goes though. It aims to reward your ingenuity more then make things convenient to set up.
I am tempted to make a pack for myself where it's the primary tech mod. But while I appreciate RoC's challenging power sometimes I cave to the lure of easier more convenient mods for functions RoC could perform.

I agree, All of Reika's mods should be in more packs. However, His mods are quite learn curvy, so it's hard for a lot of people to get into them. Now a day's you just plug it in and it works.

I think the Reika suite of mods are better played in a closed environment. Tacking them to one of the current packs doesn't provide the proper experience.
Reaka's mods are best in packs that are built around them.
Also I don't think the learning curve is that steep. In RoC's case all you need to overcome is the centralized power paradigm and opt for a dedicated engine model. Which for old school pre TE BuildCraft players should be old hat. Do the math and you can see certain engines are perfect for certain machines.
As far as shaft power goes you don't start thinking about centralized power untill you delve in to Electricraft and ReactorCraft.

I would love to play a pack with Rotarycraft in it as well as some of the other RF mods, but disables all RF generators except for RoC's.

So you'll need to depend on RoC for your power.

Already looking at that--although why would you not want to run all the cool stuff in RotaryCraft?

That being said, RFTools. I'm making use of the term "quantum properties of activated redstone" to explain it.
