Hi,
I don't want to make another topic just to ask my question so I will post it here. Any moderator that is reading this post is welcome to split topic if he/she think it is the right thing to do.
To the point. I did return to modded minecraft after couple of months without any play. I did remember that FTB launcher has some problems when I was using it for the last time (when it was being released). It seems that I still have problems with using it. Only one thing, that this time was better, is that, it actually downloaded modpack (yay!). Still it did jam when I tried addind TexturePack. Did just stuck on couple occassions. Well, no problem I did just used normal launcher and copied all relevant files. After some lurking I did discover universal configs. In this moment I would like to thank any currently listening god for such wonderful thing. Really, it's the best thing that happend to modded minecraft since 1st public release of forge. Thanks to universal configs I was abble to assemble my own modpack that is mostly based on monster/horizons. (btw. What masochist did assemble Magic Farm 2?)
My modpack is running just fine. For now it's mostly used on my desktop. Maybe in couple of weeks one or two of my friends will join my play. Thus it will be hosted on my computer rather than server. Since my computer is also a workstation, it's very powerful. So no limits in regards to mods.
Now, my main question: "What new/not known mods are worthy of adding to play?" Since I don't get the full grasp of what is nowdays played, I decided to ask community. Problematic is that some of the mods are presented very poor on forum threads and thus I don't add them. Most likely I am making a mistake on some occassions. (I didn't want to download Mariculture and BuildCraft Tools, but now I have to say that they are pretty nice mods).
For now I do have:

In total mc tells that there are 203 mods loaded. Now what kind of mods I do fancy? Tech mods. I love tech mods that have unique play. Thus, they have to play with other mods also. Thaumcraft also seems very fun. Are there more thaumcraft addons that I don't know about? There is also Thaumcraft Integration, but it seems that it is wip/private mod. I do enjoy also mods like Twilight Forest. They do add another spin to minecraft. Especially when combined with all uber tools that you can get from other mods.
Also, I do miss RedPower 2. Well, there are couple of mods that replace features in RP2 (Project RED, Tubes), but I miss frames and energy system. I honestly think that it was one of the most fun energy systems in modded minecraft. Is there any mod that is adding such energy system? or frames?
I did already looked at Ars Magica 2. For some reason it seems to me a little bit broken. Can not tell exacly why, but it's not for me...
