Hey so I've recently started messing around with bees. I got tired of having to check up on my apiary's so I decided to automate it but every time its piping new drones into my apiary's they start to stack up which makes it so other types of bees wont get piped into the apiary's. If someone has a solution please tell me.

A solution depends entirely on what you are trying to do, breed new bees, farm the resources of a specific breed, make a pure breed bee line, etc.

See, the thing is I am fairly sure most people selectively breed the new ones themselves to get the traits they want, I am not entirely sure you can automate breeding of bees to get the specific traits you want. Most people automate it after they get the purebred line of bees. So a industrious industrious bees, both active and inactive traits are the same so they don't cause issues with trying to get new drones in since they stack.

When breeding new bees, I'll only automate if I'm feeling particularly lazy, and can cope with the issues. I'll set up an automated apiary with two source bees (common and cultivated, for example), and hope that, when the traits settle down into purebred, it's something that I want. If it isn't I reset the species and try again (or, more commonly, make the setup across multiple apiaries).

Drones with any dissimilar traits will not stack, which means that, if you are getting stacking, you are near a pure line.
