I need help getting FTB tried everything

After days of frustration while trying to get FTB and failing i am consulting you guys i keep getting the same error and i cannot post it to pastebin so here it is highlight it to see all the text

It's a problem with your internet. Make sure your antivirus/firewall allows FTB to contact its servers.

it tried shutting off my firewall and that didnt work[DOUBLEPOST=1381343802][/DOUBLEPOST]do i have to uninstall my security[DOUBLEPOST=1381344060][/DOUBLEPOST]i have norton and windows i only shut down the norton could it be windows?

First follow this guide. If you are still having connection issues. Check the guide at the bottom under the 'Other USEFUL Information:' first paragraph about the AV. You can also try adding an exception to the folder in Norton if it has that feature before uninstalling it.

i already did all of the suggestions you gave me but i will try this guide
