Years back, when i played first with GregTech. I hat a small starting base, the first 6-7 electric maschines and everything worked fine.
Then i noticed that strange button in the gui. Since i did not find it in any documentation, i decided to simply press it to test it. BOOM! Huge crater in place of my base...

What happend? That was the energy output button intended to supply other machines in chain. Shortly before the IC2experimental EU energy system changed, instead of sending multiple identical packages, now EU got added up, so two 32EU/t sources now add up to 64EU/t into a single machine that could not handle it...

Now, 2 years later i'm programming a fork of GregTech myself... how time flies by...

I always wondered how deep you could go with the storageception in AE.

*ponders*
Apparently it was at a time that ME chests were glitched, but you could go deep enough to eventually have 1 item have too much NBT or Metadata that it is unable to keep track of it.

Apparently wood burns something fierce. :/

So I made an airship (wooden) and came across a cloud dungeon. Sailing in to investigate, I was attacked by a blaze which then promptly incinerated half of my ship. After getting out of there, I paused midway back to my base to attempt to put the fire out. I see now I should have just landed in the nearby ocean.... :(

I burned to death and the last vestiges of my airship now reside in the lower atmosphere above a harpy/cockatrice-infested desert. The journey back will be treacherous, but I must get back somehow. Halp.

* There's always the option to build a cheaty, one-balloon flying blockship of course.... huehuehue.

WHOOO! FLYING SEGWAY! AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

Edit: It occurs to me that this joke is actually quite funny, so I should mention that I first saw it from some user on the MC forums, I think on the Archimedes' Ships thread. Just to give credit where it's due. :p

This made me laugh way too much...

Anyway, apparently I am color blind to different shades of blue for botania petals. Literally spent twenty minutes unable to figure out what was wrong with my flower recipe, discovered I had mistaken blue for cyan, fixed it, didn't work, thought the cyan was light blue, fixed it, still didn't work, and then saw it was a combination of both light blue and blue. Before anyone ask, no I did not think to just mouse over the names of the petals, that would be too smart for me.

I wonder if Vazkii's already added a colorblind mode in the configs. It wouldn't surprise me.

Wouldn't surprise me either, and just because I am not sure where you are going with that statement I feel the need to say I am not colorblind in any way, just too lazy to read sometimes when I really should.

Edit2: edit1 was a illusion, nothing was seen (misclick, nothing of any kind of importance)

I have a similar problem with ChromatiCraft: I have a hard time telling between galazio (light blue) trees and vadali (cyan) trees. Thankfully, flight and WAILA save me a tonne of trouble, in that regard. No colourblindness that I'm aware of, I just suck with colours, lol. (I also mix up kurauri and zambarau all the time. Not my fault magenta and purple seem almost freaking identical.)

You mean they're not? :p
English has a lot of words for (almost) the same colors, and people often use them interchangeably.
As far as I know, Purple is an even mix of red and blue while Magenta has a bit more red than blue. So yeah, almost identical, but still enough of a difference that art snobs will correct you on it.
