..I can't power it.
This should be easy and its most likely is but I can't get it to work.
I'm using FTB Infinity pack and I decided I wanted a huge hole and though a quarry would be the easies way.
So I have set up the Quarry but when I try to power it using a Creative Energy Cell (CEC) I cant get it to work. No matter what cable I try.

What cable should I use? Is the CEC not working? Should I us something else to power it? What am I doing wrong?


All I want is to dig a hole!

Is the energy cell set to output mode, and also is outputting energy?

at Jordsta95 said did you set output on the energy cell? Also did you place the markers needed for the quarry and click the quarry to start it?

FTB Infinity uses both Thermal Expansion and Applied Energistics, so there will be two items with the literal name "Creative Energy Cell". One of them supplies RF/t, the other AE/t. The Quarry only accepts RF so it sounds like you are using the AE CEC.

Ah.. yes...ehm...

So i tried the other one and it just worked. I'm using the Immmersive Engineering wires now to connecting, but RedNet Energy Cables seems to work too.

RedNet will downscale the energy throughput,
I recommend the Ender Conduits - they maintain 20,000 RF per tick, while the RedNet Energy Cable lowers it to 1000.
