Does anyone have a formula for creating stable mystcraft ages. I always see these youtubers creating the best ages ever and then when i make one my age looks like hell. I even downloaded a youtubers world and copied their ages and still had no luck. Can someone please help me? Thankyou

mystcraft is very tricky especially i havent checked if the syntax for making books are the same for every update but let's start first what kind of world do you want...

I just want a plains biome thats good for quarrying
I see if I remember my mystcraft writing right
Single Biome
Plains Biome
Caves (same with fortress)
Fortress (if you so do wish to add features)
Dense Ore (if you dont mind instability)
Zenith
Normal Sun ( it should give you an eternal day)
now spice up your world (these are optional but everything above should probably be right)
Cyan
Sky Color
Blue
Grass color
Red
Folliage Color

Plains Biome
Single Biome
No Weather
Bright Lighting
Flat Terrain
East
Zenith
Normal Sun
East
Nadir
Dark Moon
East
Nadir
Dark Stars
--Rest Optional, but remember some pages like Dense Ore will add instability.

I'd recommend replacing Flat Terrain with Cave World and Plains with Mushroom Island (no mobs), that way you should start at a lower altitude so you'll start closer to the more valuable ores. Not quite sure if it's been changed, but you REALLY want Dense Ore, you could try adding a few "bad" pages like Charged/Scorched Surface to cancel out the instability caused by using Dense Ores, I recommend Charged/Scorched Surface because those wouldn't hurt you in a Cave World since you're not exposed to the sun.

Depending on how much cobble you want, a flat Desert Hills generates things like copper that tend only to be found at higher y-levels. It also generates lots of sand if you like glass.
