I know it's based on the biom they're planted in, but is it based on the name of the biom (meaning very specifically only forest and plains), the general type of biom (meaning that jungles and rain forests count as forest), or is it climate of the biom?

But no, I don't know much about Hunger Overhaul.
I wasn't trying to be rude, and I apologize if it came across that way. In fact, I was specifically trying not to be rude (apparently I failed). As for being helpful, not really. As far as I can see all you did was correct my spelling error.
Give it time, simple questions are answered very quickly, complicated, unique and unknown questions may take a while.
