Summary of the problem Huge TPS issue in RFTools dimensions.

Pack Version 3.0.13b

What is the bug? I have non - void dimensions enabled for my SF 3.0.13b server. When trying to move around in the dimension, TPS on the server quickly drops to 2-3 TPS. Seems to happen more severely in dimensions that aren't vanilla terrain, like the 'Grid', 'Upsidedown' or 'Islands' terrain types. In a dimension with vanilla terrain I get 10-14TPS.

Seems to happen more often with HugeOrbs I think.

In the Beneath I get full TPS, maybe 7-8ms per tick overall.

sk89q's profiler suggests net.minecraft.world.World.getLightFor()

Nothing useful in the console as far as I can tell, just a bunch of "Can't keep up!" messages...

UPDATE: with normal orbs and vanilla terrain it still chugs along at 7TPS :(

UPDATE2: enabling normal terrain gen in the overworld I get maybe 10TPS flying around making chunks, rises to maximum of 14TPS when I stand still. Same methods as before are taking up all the execution time...

Mod & Version 3.0.13b

Draconic Evolution updated to latest to fix headcrumbs + mobsoul crash
RFTools non-void dimension config option changed

Is it repeatable? Create an RFT dimension with non-void terrain and a HugeOrbs dimlet

Enter it

Enjoy(?) single digit TPS and an unusable world.

Known Fix Don't go to my shiny new dimension X_X Once the dimension unloads, TPS is fine.
