Huge Rubber Trees and Biomes

I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with this, but is there any way to get the 'huge rubber tree' in other biomes?

Currently it appears to only spawn in the Jungle biome. And I noticed I cannot get the saplings in creative mode - but I can obtain them from the trees in the jungle biome. On the other hand... planting the 3x3 block of saplings does not grow the trees in other biomes, either. I've given them weeks to grow, logged in, with chunk loaders, etc.

Is there any way at all to control what biomes these trees grow in - or at least restore the ability to grow them with saplings? From a design/taste perspective, some of my all-time favorite biomes were relatively flat forests with tons of these trees overshadowing the various vanilla trees. I can post a video showing it if anyone happens to be curious.

I'm a slave to aesthetics, and this has been driving me crazy for a while now. Pardon if this seems to be a bit of a shallow post.

you plant just 1 sapling just make sure it has alot of space you cant use bonemeal and thay take a long time to grow 1-2 minecraft weeks

Hopefully it works. I'm afraid I'm desperate enough to try and mess with the code. But I'm not sure where to start... cause I think they are Red Powered trees. But I also think XL Biomes toys with it, too.

if you plant a 3x3 you will be waiting forever thay are a 1 sapling tree despite the size i did some testing with them a while back

it may not but its true took a while to figure it out had them planted in 1x1 2x2 and 3x3 only the 1x1 grew and even that take a long time

I believe it's a tick/growth thing.. I might even think it's RANDOM~~~~

I'm testing it out now with a chunk loader. I've got one on 50 Xycorium Soil blocks to 'increase' the ticks. And one all alone, vanilla. With some lamps nearby. So far, about 7 hours later, no dice.

might not work with the soil blocks as flax doesnt and make sure the lamps aint wrathlamps thay stop trees growing also the way thay grow is thay need dirt on the 8 blocks surrounding the sapling so if you useing the xycraft soil blocks it may need 8 more round the center

rubber trees trunk is 3x3 but only 1 sapling is needed but if the 8 blocks around the sapling isnt dirt/grass the tree wont grow all 9 must be dirt or grass
