Whats up yall ! I am a father of 5 here in North Texas Ft.Worth area. Big fan of Minecraft, my oldest son introduced it to me a while back and I have been hooked ever since. I have always played a pretty vanilla version. I would add some textures and optifine, but other than that, just been crazy happy with the game itself. The idea of dealing with Mods and all the updates and such, well always been a turn off for me.

Kuddos to the crew here for creating this pack. Super easy to deal with and thus far lots of fun.

Truth be told, I have only played for about 30 minutes thus far and all I did was wonder around looking at stuff.

Honestly, I have no idea where to start with all the mods and such, but I am looking forward to learning.

Yes, I play with my oldest son at this point. But the truth is, this is a very solitary game for me. I enjoy the looking and exploring and mining by myself. Tonight for example, the kids are at my moms for the holidays, so I was able to just hang out exploring the newworld I created with FTB. I am mining new ores but have no idea whats what yet!!! Just having fun learning ya know.

Bit of a double edged sword eh, having children to play games with but also having children to have a break from to play games!

Learning a load of mods at once is a lot of fun, I felt like a kid in a candy store presented with all those new ores. Enjoy it while you have the time my friend and never be afraid to ask the very knowledgeable people on here for some pointers.
