How to upgrade Server from Infinity 1.8.2 to 1.9.0?

Hello guys,
what is the best way to upgrade my server from FTB Inifity 1.8.2 to 1.9.0?
I think overwriting all the files will not work because the mod versions changed.

Does someone has experience in this topic?

This is how I update my servers.

Make a backup of your world, just in case.
Download the new version and unzip it.
Delete mods, scripts and config folders from the server.
Copy the new mods, scripts and config folders to the server folder.

What about the jar file? Do i need to update it?

Ahh yes... totally forgot that. It also needs to be updated.
And either copy over the new ServerStart file or edit the existing.

When will 1.9 be officially listed as the current version. Our server is going to reset and start over, but the guy who runs our server wants to wait until 1.9 is official...
