Hi I just want to know if there is any step by step guidance on how to update, lets say, Direwolf20 1.6.4 ver 1.0.19 to the newer version 1.0.22

Like do I just copy over files after i download and start the server. My server is currently running MCPC+ and bukkit. So Im not trying to start the server over or reset it. I just want to update it without losing any world or player data...

Please help!

You delete everything execpt for the start script, plugins, server jar (may need to be updated), and world files. And then move in the files downloaded for the newer version.

So after you download the updated server files you run it first right? But since I'm running MCPC+ do I need to redownload that and rename it to custom.jar as well then start the server?

Since you are using mcpc you do not run it first that would just make another server. As said above you replace all files with the ones you downloaded from the launcher for the newer version execpt for your world, plugins, start script, and server.jar. Then you start it just like you always have. If it fails to start update mcpc.

Also be sure you have the right modpack, you will lose your world if you try to change modpacks with the same world.
