WarpBooks is a nice little mod that adds the ability to teleport to a saved location. It takes a pearl to make the book and each of the pages though, so you'll have to obtain at least 2 for a return trip from the End.

Greetings,

I was wondering if there was a mod that lets you teleport to locations?

My Nether Portal throws me out in the middle of no where so I hate the long walk home. I also hate having to walk a long distance to my friends' bases. Also I want to go to The End but don't want to get stuck there/fight the Dragon (Just need pearls).

Thanks

The trick to taming the nether portals is to build portals manually at corresponding co-ordinates. This lets you get quite a lot of nether portals within proximity of each other and have them match up correctly. This is easiest if you have a minimap mod that supports waypoints - such as journeymap - that let you activate a waypoint marker in multiple dimensions. Simply build portals exactly where you want them in the overworld. Create a waypoint at each portal ensuring the waypoint is enabled in the nether. Go through to the nether and build portals in each of the beams. (vertical match does not matter). If you are in a pack without waypoints, then just take the overworld co-ordinates, divide X and Z by 8, and build portals at the corresponding co-ordinates in the nether.

As regards visiting "The End", here your problem is that the End Dragon can see you at range and fly through terrain and in doing so it destroys all blocks that are not end stone, obsidian or the healing caps on the towers. So do not rely on any method that involves leaving a block in the nether. But, assuming you have a capable bow - you should find the end dragon easier to deal with than you might expect.

Within the direwolf20 pack, the teleport options I know of are:
* openblock elevators - same dimension only.
* Portal Gun - same dimension only.
* IC2 teleporters - same dimension only.
* Ender IO staff of teleportation and Teleport blocks - same dimension only.
* Blood Magics teleposer - same dimension only for entities.
* Applied Energistics Spatial Storage - can carry entities into storage dimensions and back out again in a different dimension if you can get the storage disk across (via tesseracts or something).
* Mystcrafts linking books. The cheapest "disposable" port back home option.
* RFTools teleporters. Also works across dimension.

Edit: Thanks @McJty for the heads up.

And also rftools portals since sw20 now has rftools

Once you manage to take out the crystals, the dragon is vulnerable even to a Tinker's Longsword and good timing. (Yes, I did manage to kill it like that. I completely under estimated the number of arrows I needed.)

Emeralds are trash to the initiated industrialist. Make an auto wheat farm and wood farm, either EIO or MFR take your pick. Make a couple carpenters from Forestry dedicate one to pulp and one to paper. And you will be able to fleece them huge nosed suckers. Bonus points if you make a chicken ans cow farm for those meat trades.
Also those thaumcraft banksters tend to sell other vilager trades for them coins.

Once you have a stack or two you can just make spawners from EIO or MFR. Then endermen for days.
