How to start SMP to friends only?

I want to create a multiplyer server for my friends to play in FTB Academy 1.16 But I don't know how. But looking in the main menu I noticed there is one button which is "Open to Friends" which What I assume what can enable my world to be played by my friends, but its grayed out for some reason.
I'm still new to FTB for a long while so I wanna know how I can invite my friends in my world if possible
