ok I'm having problems starting the server like getting the files to start the server cause when i try to run my start.command it doesn't work due to no files there that it needs to start up the server can i have some help to start the server/get the files needed for my private server btw (mac)

never mind i had a program on my computer that could run .exe programs so i got it to download the minecraft_server file and I'm running the server right sorry to bother anyone.
