How to read a crash report?

I get minecraft crash frequently while playing with a lot of mods,i wanted to learn how to read crash reports so that i can fix the problem(s) myself.I would be very thankful if anyone of you would teach me/giv me a link
on how to read a crash report.

Just look for key words such as author.modname item.blahblah , and you can useualy piece together what the cause is.

Yeah, usually starts straight at the top of the Crash report, you can't really miss it, and once you find it, it's not too puzzling to solve, although I'll admit, I needed help with a Crash report not so long ago ;) a very kind gentleman was willing to help out.
