How to pick up Liquid Yellorium

I have found a world in myst craft that has an ocean of liquid Yellorium. Every time I try to pick it up with a bucket it just comes up as water. I can't get a pump to pump it. Any suggestions?
 
What modpack? A player on my server created a dimension full of liquid yellorium and used a pump to collect it.
 
Liquid yellorium is the fuel that is meant to be inside the reactors fuel rods. Outside of the reactor it is absolutely useless and can't be transferred into a reactor.
 
Pack, mods and version #s matter here. At some point some mod added compatibility for yellorium ore and the TiCo smeltery. If you have that, you should be able to bucket or pump molten yellorium if found in mystcraft dimensions into casting basins or ingot casts. There may still be a difference between molten yellorium in the smelter and the liquid yellorium in the reactor.

Aside from playing a more up to date mod pack, it looks like there is nothing you can do with it.

You can store in in small tanks and use a casting setup to get it back into ingots.
