How to make skies, and fog multi-coloured? And terrain changing.

Hi,

I was wondering how to make a sky that is Purple, Blue and Yellow not combined in one colour but separate colours. Also Fog that is Cyan Red and Orange as well. Also I would like to make a lava age that have basalt mountains in it, with no grass or dirt just a base terrain of basalt is this possible?
