How to make arcane stone blocks[Thaumcraft 3]

In Thaumcraft, what items do you research and what order to make Arcane stone blocks. I've tried everything I could think of with no luck

That hasn't really helped. I put in craftign tables and it doesn't search. Anything else makes something different. Got suggestions for specific combinations or an order?

As far as i can see, you have to have thaumium bars before that, can't see anything else you need before arcane stone. Aside from that I can only say, if it's giving you other research before that, just complete it or it will constalty restart other research till you learn it.

Have you already got it and not noticed? it should be the top left research next to the thaumium bars.

Oh, you shouldn't do it in a crafting table.

I think one of the "default" discoveries - in the upper block - is a "magic crafting table". I forget the correct name.
Anyway, you put your wand in the correct slot, then fill out the crafting recipe as usual - crafting the blocks will drain vis from your wand.
Because this isn't a standard crafting recipe, NEI doesn't show it.

That said, you need quite a few pieces of research before the arcane stone even becomes available - but then arcane stone isn't particularly useful until later anyway.

I think he means he is putting craft tables in to the research table as they have the Fabrico essence needed to research arcane stone.
