How to make a door auto close within Direwolf20?

Can anyone tell me how its done within Direwolf mod pack? Is it different from Vanilla?

Ok I am a noob so what do I hook the plate up to? Do I need redstone lied down from plate to door?

I think Thaumcraft doors are the only ones different. Otherwise you just have the Obsidian Plate option that ignores mobs.[DOUBLEPOST=1366314152][/DOUBLEPOST]

Just place one in front of the door. No redstone necessary.

To craft:
two wood planks, or two stone blocks, or two obsidian blocks in a crafting table

To use:
place inside in front of door, no red stone needed.

If you want to place one out side of your home as well, only use obsidian pressure plates, they are "mob safe."

Just to clarify this last bit as OP seems quite new: With normal wood and stone pressure plates, if a mob steps on them it will open the door. Creepers can track you from outside your house, and zombies love to charge doors anyways...so, these pressure plates are very bad for outside your door.

Since you have DW20 pack, you have EE3. Once you get a minium stone, you can use it to convert 2 wood to obsidian. This makes obsidian extra easy to get, so I would def. say to go with obsidian plates.
