I just got a server from Cubedhost and I want to have it be Mindcrack FTB. From what I have read I am supposed to take the mindcrack_server.zip, unzip it in Filezilla, then upload it to the server. Then I don't really know what to do after that so if anyone could help that would be great. Thanks in advance :)

Have either of you succeeded yet? I just set up a server with Cubedhost today and I'm having problems uploading FTB as well. The information I was able to find led me to remove the existing files from the server and upload what was in the Ultimate_Server.zip. Everything seemed to be going well but it failed to upload 2 files, ServerStart.bat and ServerStart.sh.

After uploading I went attempted to start the server again but it crashes every time. I can't help but wonder if I deleted something I shouldn't have, or if I somehow need to get those ServerStart files in there.

If anyone can help a total noob I'd greatly appreciate it.

I ended up cancelling cubedhost and going with hostlegend. After i cancelled they finally responded to my ticket i put in with these instructions

Manual installation is fairly simple:
1) Stop your server in Multicraft
2) Download and install a desktop FTP client if you don't already have one (eg. http://filezilla-project.org)
3) Download the latest FTB (Mindcrack) zip and extract it to a folder on your computer
4) Open your FTP client and connect to our FTP server using the details found under the FTP File Access tab in Multicraft. Please make sure you enter the information exactly as it's shown; your password is the same as your Multicraft password.
5) Open the jar directory in your server's files and delete everything.
6) Drag the single jar file from your extracted FTB files into the jar folder
7) Find the mods, coremods, and other folders in both your server and extract files. (If they don't exist already, skip the next step)
8) For each folder, delete all of the files inside
9) Drag the files from your computer to the respective folders
10) Start your server

That is what they said to do. Hope that helps. I do know you will need to use an FTP client to upload the files such as filezilla, which is free.

I have it working but it took me a good bit of time to figure out how to FTP into the server and upload the files.
