How to get GregTech advanced Recipes?!

Hopefully I'm in the right section, I just made an account after all. This seems like a stupid question, but how do you get GregTech-Addon advanced crafting recipes to work? It seems that it auto-defaulted the recipes to the cheap mode because I went in the config and changed them to FALSE (they were true before) and it still gives me the cheap ones. I want the advanced ones and everywhere on google I search it comes up with "how to disable" instead of enable. I think it is more fun with the tougher recipes... Please help me get this sorted out, LimpLungs.

I think your problem is that you're doing it backwards. If you want to use the expensive stuff, set things to true. This is what the usefullrecipes section of the GregTech config file should look like for hard mode:

Thats what I thought, because that what all the other posts said, but they were initially set to TRUE and not working...Then I set to false and still didn't work. heres a pic of the config. I'll also launch again to test with them back on true! ---> Went back in game with set to TRUE and they still didn't work...

I know about the whole storage blocks, those arent working as I set them either btw... But I am mainly concerned about macerator etc not having advanced recipes

Does your Gregtech get loaded? can you post a logfile on pastebin orso with the startup of the server?
