How to fix computercraft display?

Does anyone know how to solve this little, but annoying issue?
Instead of the normal blank/black spaces, every single space is a period "." right now.
I am using a custom resourcepack, but i have not added/changed any computercraft textures.

edit: With the default resource pack, this is not happening.

Yes, i did. It displays properly then.

This might be related to the bug some of us is getting where text is all jumbled up. Fix seems to be to start the game up without texture packs and then first load them when you are ingame. But that is just a pain in the ...
