How much RAM Should I Allocate to my FTB Server?

Hello friends! I have a quick question for you all.

I am considering buying a Minecraft FTB server for me and a couple of friends. We will be running the Monster FTB pack and using Creeperhost as our host for their reliability and pricing.

There won't be many people on, 10 people at the very max, probably less than 5 online at a given time.

How big of a server size should I buy? I was thinking 2GB, due to the very low amount of people. None of us are crazy builders and won't build crazy lag-inducing machines.

What do you guys think I should buy? 2GB or something more? Please let me know!

FTB Monster is an intensive pack, and I'd say 2gb is the bare minimum for any server. But in your case, I think 3gb would be better.

I would say 1 gig per person plus an extra gig, but at minimum get 4-5 gigs

Just the DW 20 pack with 4-5 people pushed over 3G on the server I was on. And that was with some of the "extra dimensions" (Mystcraft/Twilight Forest) mods turned off.

Monster has even more mods.
