Would just one set of gold pipes be able to supply enough water at a time to cool 40 combustion engines, or liquiducts even or would I need multiple pipe networks going to the engines, and how many aqeuous accumulators do you think I would need?

I think it is 1 aq. accumulator for each 3 engines. Also 1 liquiduct going from the aq. accumulator to the 3 engines has never been a problem to me. No idea about BC pipes.

One pipe network is enough if it's liquiduct. BC pipes have limits on how much liquid can move through one run, liquiducts are only limited in how much each endpoint can transfer. So a bank of accumulators (one per 3 engines, one liquiduct connection each) could be routed through one run of liquiduct to the engines

Or.. a boiler could work. Safer than combustion counterparts and more effective at burning fuels. Limited on fuel supply? a max LP should do the trick. (a bucket o fuel will last for I believe 10 minutes and 18 seconds)

no. Upgrade to liquiducts.
You should have the power for an induction furnace to create the hardened glass.
